ANAVIP Poultry Congress

The National Association of Poultry Farmers of Panama (ANAVIP) held its XXXIII National Poultry Congress, which this year had the participation of several countries among which we can highlight: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, United States, Mexico, Italy and Venezuela.

This event is celebrated annually to honor Poultry Farmer's Day, every November 12 of each year, we highlight in honor of the date of the founding of ANAVIP, which was established in 1974.

The collaborators of Empresas Melo - Food Division attended this update day, whose objective is to learn how to improve production levels and application of the latest existing technologies.

At the opening ceremony, the Keynote Conference “Conquering the brain to achieve results” was presented, given by Dr. Yesid Barrera from the company RYBSIDEAS. The presentation was interactive, practical and applied to realities experienced by humanity.

The rest of the conference cycle was aimed at improving other technical areas, both on farms and in processing plants, emphasizing new technologies and biosafety, factors that have always been the most important in Panamanian companies.

It is important to highlight that Panamanian poultry farmers continue to look optimistically at the future, trusting that the Panamanian people will continue to prefer the national product, which has proven to be the best, both in eggs and fresh chicken meat.
