These Policies are valid for the ALIMENTOS MELO website and it is understood that when purchasing any of our products or services the customer accepts the service policies specified below.

    1. RECEIPT OF THE SERVICE

We will accept cancellations of any purchase order within 24 hours of requesting it, as long as it has not been billed or dispatched. In this case, the client must request a refund or cancellation of the payment either with a deposit or bank transfer or with a credit card, so that it can be returned, provided that it complies with the conditions explained above.

To cancel your purchase order or any of its services, the customer must contact us through the Customer Service Center, at number 290-8829 or 6379-9726.

  1. CONFIDENTIALITY

EMPRESAS MELO, SA guarantees the security of its clients' information, which travels in encrypted form to our secure site and is managed in such a way that it cannot be decrypted by agents external to us.

  1. PRICES

Prices are expressed in AMERICAN DOLLARS , according to the reference exchange rate on the day of the transaction. Likewise, they may be subject to change without prior notice.

  1. AVAILABILITY

If a situation of lack of availability arises, EMPRESAS MELO, SA will promptly inform its clients, by email from our Customer Service, about this situation beyond our control, indicating the reason why the service cannot be delivered or estimated delivery time.

  1. DELIVERY TIMES

The customer service hours through the ALIMENTOS MELO portal are:

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am to 12 noon .

The client accepts that they must have a person to receive their service during these times.

EMPRESAS MELO, SA will not accept as a commitment special schedules that the client writes in the fields of the order form and will only comply with what is indicated in this document as a commitment.

The customer agrees that if his/her required service has been registered outside of purchase receipt hours, it will be sent in the next immediately available time range.

  1. PAYMENTS

The client is obliged to pay / settle / cancel the service order placed by the EMPRESAS MELO, SA portal in its entirety.

You can pay securely with Visa and MasterCard credit cards, bank transfers from Banco General, BAC Credomatic and Banistmo, or opt for cash payment when receiving your products.

EMPRESAS MELO, SA is affiliated with the Verified by Visa and Master Security Code service in order to offer its clients the greatest possible security and confidence when making their online payments.

  1. ORDER POLICIES

The client must provide complete details of the recipient's address. If the client does not have the complete address, the client may be supported in finding the address, as long as it is a business address, company or places that, due to their commercial, assistance or government nature, are of public interest. For these purposes, the client must provide at least the telephone number, email address and name of the contact.

EMPRESAS MELO, SA reserves the right not to deliver information to the client in the event that the client has incurred partial or misleading information regarding their identity.

  1. GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS.

The client is obliged to provide the necessary information about the recipient to deliver the requested service. Any error or lack of information in this regard will be the sole responsibility of the client.

The estimated delivery time is 2 days , depending on the delivery location.

The delivery service has a fixed cost of B/. 3.50, plus ITBMS on the total of your purchase. If your purchase is $30 or more, shipping is free !

  1. LIMIT AND LIABILITY

Use of cards without the owner's authorization or stolen ones.

We are not responsible for purchases made with credit cards without prior authorization from the owner or stolen; It is understood that the person making the purchase is fully authorized to carry out the transaction and, therefore, we cannot refuse to process it. Carrying out transactions online without the prior consent of the owner or with stolen cards constitutes fraud which is punishable by Panamanian legislation.

We send information via email to our customers regarding our credit card payment providers. We are affiliated with a Financial Institution with high standards at the regional level, which provides us with credit card collection, serving as its sole responsibility to be a secure collection agent for our clients with the card-issuing bank. You are informed that the payment for the purchase will appear on your account statement under the name of EMPRESAS MELO, SA .

We do not accept, under any circumstances, any payment not recognized by the client due to lack of knowledge of the payment method or due to disagreements with delivery. The fact of establishing a claim with the bank, thereby ignoring your purchase, implies a suspicion of potential fraud; Therefore, with the order information, signature of receipt of the order or service by the recipient, there will be sufficient evidence to support the claim that is filed. It will then be vitally important that the client always contact us to clarify any point.

  1. CONSUMER PROTECTION

We are committed to abide by the provisions of the Consumer Protection and Defense Law and the guidelines regarding privacy policy.

  1. UNEXPECTED

Any situation not provided for in these policies will be resolved by our Customer Service Center. At all times, compliance with our agreements will be verified under the philosophy of maximum customer satisfaction, with the understanding that there will be agents external to us that will prevent us from fulfilling our purpose.
