Bun Sticks with Pizza Dip

List of ingredients

  • 1 package of MELO Buns
  • 12 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 1 package of Melo Smoked Ham
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation mode

BUN STICKS

1. Cut the buns in half and in half again lengthwise. In order to have 4 pieces of bun that assimilate a palitroque.

2. In a deep fryer at 350 F, fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the fryer and pat dry with a paper towel. 

PIZZA DIP

1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese with the garlic, thyme, and parsley until smooth and combined. 


2. Pour the marinara sauce into the bottom of a 3 1/2-quart deep baking dish or 12-inch skillet. Evenly spread the prepared cream cheese mixture over the marinara sauce. Next, layer the pepperoni slices, saving a few to decorate the top at the end. 


3. Evenly distribute the grated cheese over the top, top with the additional pepperoni slices and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 


4. Serve immediately with the bun sticks
